In the 25-year period of its existence, Urban Integrated Consultants, Inc. (UICI) has carried out a large number of projects across several sectors all over the Philippines and other ASEAN countries. Railways Project
Revision of the Feasibility Study on Integrated Panay Railways System (PRS) Project of the Panay Railways, Incorporated. Revision of the previous studies on Panay Railways System, including the conduct of a new study for the proposed extension lines from Roxas City to Caticlan. Malay, Aklan and extension line to the New Iloilo International Airport. Iloilo International Port and Guimbal Port as well as the integration with non-rail components namely: solid waste management system, waste-to-energy facility and bio-ethanol facility.

Drainage Project
Comprehensive Drainage Study for Clark Freeport Zone for the 4,400-hecater of Clark Freeport Zone and some localities outside the zone that will be affected by the proposed drainage plan.

Road Projects
Detailed Engineering Design for Rehabilitation of Selected Road Sections in Luzon and Visayas Regions, CS-RU-DE 2.1 for the National Roads Improvement and Management Project, Phase 2 (NRIMP 2) This phase of the project is intended to build and consolidate the achievements of the first phase by undertaking the following principal tasks which involves the following undertakings: 1) commercialization of road maintenance under the management of a Road Maintenance Authority (RMA); 2) continuing development and improvement of business process within DPWH and the RMA; 3) continuing upgrading and maintenance of selected portions of the National Road System.

Other Major Projects
The ADB-Assisted Sixth Road Project involves the rehabilitation/improvement of 700 km. of national highways throughout the Philippines. UICI handles Project Area IV (Antique and Aklan in Panay Island) which includes two road sections, Patnongon - Culasi Road (68.2 km) and Culasi - Nabas Road (44.3 km).

UICI was also contracted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to provide detailed engineering design and construction supervision services for the ADB-Assisted Sixth Road Project, Bridge Component, which consists of replacement, repairs and seismic retro-fitting of bridges of previously ADB-assisted road improvement projects. The main items of work include construction of new foundation, sub-structures, river training, and slope protection works for the replacement of bridges, repair of damaged components and seismic retro-fitting of existing bridges.

Moreover, UICI provided assistance to LGUs in enhancing the delivery of social services, and improvement of social infrastructure including the Project Management Consulting Services for the Mindanao Basic Urban Services Sector Project (MBUSSP). The project was based on a sector lending approach and support the Government’s Social Reform Agenda SRA for 20 provinces in the country. The project areas cover about 3,000 rural communities with population ranging from 200 to 5000 persons in the provinces located in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
